Browser mockup generator

Put any website in a clean browser window. Paste the address, pick a look, and download a PNG at the exact size for a slide deck, a link preview or a social post — with a transparent background if you want one.

The editor makes every size from the same design — a 16:9 slide, a link preview, square, portrait and story posts — with captions in 30 languages. The address you capture goes to FNDRY39’s capture service, which visits the page and sends back a picture; nothing is kept.

How it works

  1. 01

    Capture

Type the address. The page is photographed the way a desktop visitor sees it, at twice the usual resolution so it stays sharp on a big screen.

  2. 02

    Style

Pick one of 15 looks and a window theme, add a headline if you want one, and choose the shape.

  3. 03

    Download

Get a PNG at the exact pixel size — or open it in the editor and make every size at once.

Sizes

Every image is drawn at its final size from the design — never resized from another — and checked after it is made.

Browser mockup sizes
ShapePixelsWhy this size
Website 16:91920 × 1080Full HD — the size of most slide decks, screens and video.
Website 16:92560 × 1440Sharper on large and high-density screens.
Website 16:93840 × 21604K. Large files; use it when the image will be shown big.
Link preview1200 × 630Meta asks for at least 1200×630 at 1.91:1 for link images, and LinkedIn for at least 1200×627 — this size suits both. Use it as a page’s og:image.
Square post1080 × 1080Instagram shows photos up to 1080 px wide; a square sits inside its 1.91:1 to 3:4 range.
Portrait post1080 × 13504:5 at Instagram’s 1080 px width.
Portrait post1080 × 14403:4 — the tallest shape Instagram keeps without cropping.
Story 9:161440 × 2560The 9:16 resolution Meta’s ads guide gives for Instagram Stories.
Story 9:161080 × 1920The same 9:16 shape at 1080 px.

Every size from one design

In the editor a mockup becomes a set: the same design as a 16:9 slide, a link preview and square, portrait and story posts, with several pages, captions in 30 languages and one ZIP at the end. App Store and Google Play screenshots live in the same studio.

Questions

How do I make a browser mockup of my website?

Type your website’s address and press Capture. The page is photographed as a desktop visitor sees it and placed in a browser window on the look you choose. Pick a size, add a headline if you like, and download the PNG — or open it in the editor to make every size at once.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

It is free, with no account, no watermark and no limit. FNDRY39 builds and runs it at its own cost.

What sizes can I download?

Website 16:9: 1920 × 1080, 2560 × 1440 or 3840 × 2160; Link preview: 1200 × 630; Square post: 1080 × 1080; Portrait post: 1080 × 1350 or 1080 × 1440; Story 9:16: 1440 × 2560 or 1080 × 1920. “Window only” is the browser window by itself on a transparent PNG, as wide as your capture allows — between 2400 and 3200 pixels.

What happens to the address I capture?

It is sent to FNDRY39’s capture service, which opens the page in a browser on our server and sends back a picture. Only public websites can be reached — addresses on private networks are refused — and neither the address nor the picture is kept or logged. The picture then stays in your browser.

Can I capture a page that needs a login?

No. The capture service visits the page as a stranger would, so a page behind a login shows the login screen. Take a screenshot yourself and upload it in the editor instead — it goes into the same browser windows.

Can I get a transparent background?

Yes. Choose “Window only” for just the browser window on a transparent PNG, or turn on “Transparent background” for any size. Transparency is for web and social images only; App Store and Google Play screenshots must not have it.

May I use a screenshot of someone else’s website?

Your own site, or a client’s with their go-ahead, is the safe case. Anyone else’s website is their work, and whether you may publish a picture of it depends on how you use it — that call is yours, not the studio’s.

Does the address bar have to match the page?

No. It shows the address you captured, but you can type anything — a shorter address, or the one the site will have at launch. It is only drawn on the image, never visited.
